GLADBROOK – On December 11, 2023, three council members and the mayor were sworn in at the regular Gladbrook city council meeting. Michele Barnes was appointed to fill the vacant council seat for two years until that seat is up for election in 2025. In November, Scott Schmidt and Wayne Nekola were elected for another 4-year term on the council while Trudi Scott will serve another 2-year term as mayor.
