GLADBROOK – The Gladbrook Auxiliary hosted the December Sr. Dinner in the Festival of Trees at the City Center on Dec. 1. Between deliveries and in-house participants, 53 enjoyed the turkey dinner with all the trimming. Before and after the meal many loved walking through the trees and displays depicting the theme “Gingerbread Christmas.” June Bessman played carols before dinner. For the program Linda Goos and Rose Russell read Christmas blessings and they sang and led the Christmas carol sing-along. The door prize was won by Leo Schwaller. Everyone received their Santa Sack and a gingerbread ornament from the Jr. Auxiliary. Holding their gingerbread ornaments were (l-r) Caroline Oettchen and Judy Fink.
