G-R to host series of town halls to address facility improvements
The Gladbrook-Reinbeck Community School District will be hosting a series of town halls to update the public on the current state of the district’s aging facilities and infrastructure. Town halls are set for Dec. 11 in Reinbeck at 5:30 p.m. at the secondary building; Dec. 14 and Dec. 20 in Gladbrook beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Theater; and Dec. 21 in Reinbeck beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the elementary building. According to Superintendent Caleb Bonjour, the town halls will focus on “the needs of our buildings, the components that have surpassed their expected product life spans, [while] working to establish a base knowledge of what we are looking at.” There will also be time for questions. The district is also seeking volunteers to be part of upcoming community listening sessions. For more information or to volunteer, contact Supt. Bonjour at (319) 345-2712, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
