Farmers at the Mid-Iowa Cooperative, Midway location, were pleasantly surprised with a sack lunch provided by the Coop recently. Marshall County Pork Producers President and Mid-Iowa employee, Darrel Burt, grilled the delicious pork burgers. This is an annual event sponsored by the Coop to remind farmers to stay safe and take a break during this busy harvest season. Over 100 lunches were given out at Midway. The Coop has 11 locations and every location will be treated to the free lunch.
