TOLEDO – The meeting of the Tama County Supervisors held last Monday, October 2 was over and done with quick. The only item on the agenda was a final voucher for a paving project on E64. The agenda item was signed and approved swiftly.
The Tama County Engineer went on to report that they’ve been out retrieving shoulders and have been doing some ditch cleaning on 380th Street. As for the Toledo Deer Creek bridge, work is being done on the last couple of details and they are awaiting the dirt crew to start work. A John Deere motor grader was purchased for $389,000 as the department slowly upgrades their equipment.
Claims totaling $125,746.41 were approved.
