Former KWWL news anchors bring speaking tour to Traer Sept. 13

TRAER – Former KWWL news anchors Tara Thomas and Amanda Goodman launched a speaking tour earlier this year. The outspoken former television journalists, close friends and professional communication consultants are taking their ‘entertaining and brutally honest podcast’ Faith and Four Letter Words on the road – stopping by Traer on Sept. 13 – to deliver a message of empowerment to women of all ages.

The Traer show is set for Wednesday, September 13 at the Traer Memorial Building, 414 Second Street. Doors open at 5 p.m. for the 6-9 p.m. show that will include food, local vendors and an opportunity for a girls’ night out.

Both longtime former TV news anchors, the duo walked away from the business led by faith and frustration. Today they are professional speakers, social media influencers and communication consultants with a collective reach of over 50,000.

The duo kicked off this inaugural tour in Dyersville, Iowa. More than 1,300 women showed up in their first three stops.

From their decades-long run-ins with members of the “boys’ club” to backstabbing colleagues who wanted their jobs to being told how to dress and what not to wear by consultants, these two are going there – and they’re not holding anything back.

Join Amanda and Tara in Traer for a healthy dose of laughs and love as they share the sometimes hard truths about being women, wives and mothers in the workforce while trying to balance it all.

Information on purchasing tickets can be found on the duo’s Facebook page, Faith & Four Letter Words.
