GRUNDY CENTER – Exhibitors are needed for the 2023 Open Class Show (non-livestock) at the Grundy County Fair to be held the week of July 17-22. Residence in Grundy County is not required. It is open to everyone.

Classes include foods, woodworking, quilts, fine arts, textiles, clothing, photography, and horticulture. Entries in textiles, clothing, and fine arts may be original or from a kit or pattern.

Each exhibit receives a ribbon and is judged on its own merit regardless of the number of entries in the class.

The feature class for each division follows the fair theme “The All American Fair.”

Entry forms and instruction packets are available at the Grundy County Extension Office for $1, where entry tags are also available for free. You can also find the online entry form at www.grundycountyfair.com.

Bring your completed entry form and tags with your entries for check-in. Entries may be brought to the Open Class Building, Grundy County Fairgrounds, on Monday, July 17 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. or Tuesday, July 18 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 am.

Judging begins at 10:00 a.m. Exhibitors are not present during judging. Release time is Saturday, July 22 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
