Ripple Effect donates $2,400 to Conrad Development Corporation for new residential project

Conrad – On Wednesday, May 10, Ripple Effect donated $2,400 to the Conrad Development Corporation (CDC) to support a new residential project in the community. The CDC is a not-for-profit corporation that acts as the real estate development entity in Conrad, helping facilitate industrial and residential growth in the town.

The funds from Ripple Effect will go towards producing a digital marketing brochure for the Catherine Farmer Residential Project, a housing development project designed in preparation for 50 lots for single-family and twin homes. The marketing brochure created by Final Draft Films will feature a two-minute video highlighting the quality of life and amenities available in Conrad. Heart of Iowa Communications Cooperative has matched the Ripple Effect grant with a $2,400 donation.

“As the incumbent telephone company, Heart of Iowa Communications Cooperative is honored to provide a $2,400 donation to match the Ripple Effect grant money awarded to the Conrad Development Corporation (CDC). Heart of Iowa looks forward to providing our fiber service to residents in this new development,” said Jenny Pekarek, Heart of Iowa Communications Cooperative Executive Secretary.

Volunteers manage the Conrad Development Corporation. It works in public and private partnerships with the City of Conrad and Conrad Chamber Main Street Inc. The organization serves as a conduit for residential and industrial real estate purchases and sales in the community.

“The Conrad Development Corporation and the City of Conrad are extremely pleased and appreciative of the partnership between Heart of Iowa Communications Cooperative, Iowa Area Development Group, and Aureon through their Ripple Effect grant investment in the marketing video promoting the community and the Catherine Farmer residential development. The video produced by Final Draft Films of Conrad has been a vital part of our ability to leverage modern media to promote new home construction opportunities in Conrad and the business, educational and recreational opportunities we have to offer. The Ripple Effect grant allowed us to produce a high-quality video presentation being shared throughout the region with HR departments, realtors, builders, and potential homeowners, letting them know all we have to offer in Conrad,” said Shane Tiernan, GNB Director of Lending.

The Conrad Development Corporation is committed to promoting growth and development in Conrad. The Ripple Effect donation will help make that vision a reality.
