GRUNDY CENTER – Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) last week stopped in Grundy County during his annual 99 county meetings across Iowa. Grassley hosted a Q&A with community members at Grundy County Rural Electric Cooperative, where 19 constituents were in attendance. During the meeting, Grassley answered questions on any topic including the 2023 Farm Bill, the power grid, the supply chain, the workforce, international relations in Ukraine and China and Mexico’s ban on genetically modified U.S. corn exports.
“I’m grateful to Grundy County REC for having me at their facility. Grundy Center is just south of my farm, so I always enjoy hearing from my neighbors, as well as the opportunity to meet constituents and listen to topics important to Iowans,” Grassley said.
