Women, men and children in more than 170 countries and regions will celebrate World Day of Prayer on Friday, March 3, 2023. This year the women of Taiwan call us to worship together considering the words from Ephesians 1:15-19, “I Have Heard About Your Faith.” The women of Taiwan share stories of their experiences, profound love, faith and acceptance of Christ. World Day of Prayer is an ecumenical movement of Christians who come together to observe a common day of prayer each year on the first Friday of March.

This year’s service will be held at noon on Friday, March 3, 2023, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 900 Park Street, Tama, Iowa. We encourage you to invite your friends, family and faith communities to join us in prayer to support ecumenical efforts toward peace, justice and faith. The annual offering supports the work of World Day of Prayer USA and helps meet the needs of families in Taiwan and around the world who are victims of many forms of poverty, violence and injustice.
