On Saturday, February 25, the Tama County Cattlemen will be hosting their annual banquet at the Traer Memorial Building. The evening will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by a large prime rib dinner at 6:30 p.m. Dinner is catered by Spanky’s, and Iowa Premium of Tama graciously donated the meat. The evening’s entertainment will feature Mark Putney, Director of Business Development for ChopLocal, and Clay Creighton, Area Sales Manager for Agoro Carbon Alliance. Also this year, the Trophy Auction for awards to be given out at the 2023 Tama County Fair beef show will take place during the banquet. Many door prizes will be given out! Open to the public.
