The Gladbrook American Legion and Auxiliary hosted the Gladbrook-Lincoln Ambulance Service and Fire Department personnel at their annual January oyster & chili soup supper held on Monday, January 16.

The volunteers introduced themselves, while Ambulance Director Kern Kemp and fireman Mark Lowry – who has more than 30 years of service – each gave an interesting update on their respective departments.

The groups thanked them for their service.

Happy Birthday was sung to Loren Frericks as he celebrated his 80th birthday.
