Corn Carnival Board seeking help with special project

Stock image of corn.

The 100th Corn Carnival will be here in about 4 months. Board members and event chairs

are working hard to make things happen. We will be posting updates and information on the

Corn Carnival Facebook page and Corn Carnival website as things continue to come together.

Right now, the Corn Carnival Board needs your help. Our Grand Marshals this year will be to honor All Gladbrook area citizens, past and present. We have something special planned but here is where we need help.

We would like headshot photos of anyone who has lived, worked, grown up or spent significant time in Gladbrook. And we are asking for your help to make this happen. These can be taken with cell phones, ones you already have (please scan), or with a camera. They need to be clear photos and preferably taken in front of a solid background. They will only be four-inch diameter prints when we use them. If you have not already had yours taken at either the Lions Soup Day or the Tree Lighting, make sure to send one in. We need your photo. We have about 150 already but we have a long way to go with needing photos. These can also be photos of those deceased that are no longer with us as a memory photo.

Photos may be emailed to gladbrookcorncarnival@gmail.com.

Please help us with this project as soon as possible. Please share this information with family

members, friends, class reunion groups, or anyone you can think of. When sending in photo submissions, please identify a name of the person(s) when sending in.

Hope to see you June 16-19 in Gladbrook!
