Santa making appearance at Peace Church on Christmas Eve

Jolly Old Saint Nick is extremely busy Christmas Eve. Even with his reindeer supercharged with candy canes, he has to make it to every child in the world in one long evening. He does it to express the joy of giving and the love of children. It is a strenuous task.

Peace Church has made a special arrangement with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. They will appear at the church from 6:30 pm until after the 7 p.m. Christmas Eve service.

Peace Church will have a couple photo areas for families to use. They have a beautiful Christmas themed family backdrop and Santa will be in his special chair next to the gloriously decorated, full Christmas tree at the front of the church auditorium. Mrs. Claus says, “I’ve been working all week to prepare special Santa Sacks for each child that visits Santa or attends the service. St. Nicholas wants to see every child in Gladbrook before he zooms off to deliver the gifts on their lists.”

She smiled brightly and leaned in to whisper, “Kids, it won’t be too late to whisper in his ear what you want under the tree.”
