The 23rd annual Miracle on Main celebration is nearly upon us! Plan to fill your Friday (and, some of Saturday!) with the range of events offered on Main Street in Reinbeck on November 12-13.

Miracle-goers will be able to experience the old, the new, and everything in between this year. For our youngest guests, storytime with Mrs. Claus is back, as well as the chance to see Santa and friends walking up and down Main Street on Friday night. Get your craft and goodie bag to go at Bill Davis Park, too! If you’d like to sit with Santa in his chair, report to the Memorial Building from 8-noon on Saturday and support the Reinbeck Park Board at our Santa Breakfast!

If seeing the big man in red isn’t at the top of your priority list, enjoy supper at a restaurant on Main or at the LSB Soup Supper in the Memorial Building from 5:00-6:30. Sip your way down the street with six different wine tastings, free hot chocolate at Beans & Blooms or a Shirley Temple at the fire station! Make sure to sign up at business open houses for prize drawings and Reinbeck Dollar drawings at the end of the weekend.

Something exciting is popping around every corner on Friday night. Movement Dance and Fitness will be presenting their Holiday Extravaganza, trolley rides will happen continuously throughout the night, Barn Stahl Petting Zoo is coming to town, tours of the new Westview airBNB locations are available, and be on the lookout for Miracle Drops happening all evening long!

If the outdoor air isn’t your thing, stay cozy and warm at the Gingerbread Decorating Contest at MercyOne, play Bingo at the Memorial Building and snap a selfie with cast members of the GR Musical Beauty and the Beast, enjoy the Christmas Tree Walk at LSB, or stop and do some holiday shopping at our craft and vendor show. Don’t forget to hop in your car and check out our self-guided Christmas lights tour, then vote for your favorite home and business.

5th-8th graders are invited to participate in the beanbag tournament at Cooley Sanitation, then head on up to the elementary school for a dance and fun night hosted by the Clark Family.

Don’t forget that the Miracle on Main fun continues on Saturday the 13th with Breakfast with Santa in the morning, and a chili cookoff and ugly sweater contest at the Dig Inn in the evening! We’re excited to see many friendly and familiar faces at Miracle on Main 2021!
