What motivated you to run for this office or to run for reelection?

I have served several terms on the Gladbrook City Council and was encouraged by city staff and current council members to seek reelection.

What challenges do you see small, rural communities like yours facing today as compared to larger cities and suburbs? What do you plan to do to help meet those challenges as a city council member?

I think a large challenge facing communities like Gladbrook is maintaining and improving infrastructure while keeping a reasonable tax levy. I would like to obtain grants and aid from federal and state sources without placing excessive limits on local government.

Why should people vote for you on November 2? I believe I have exhibited good judgement and trustworthiness to the citizens of Gladbrook in the past.
