Veterans Day supper in Gladbrook
The Gladbrook American Legion Auxiliary is hosting a Veterans Day Supper on Mon., Nov. 8th, 6:30 at the Memorial Building.
Please bring a dish to share. Legion Auxiliary Department, District and County officers will be present.
There will be a video of highlights from 2019-2021 National ALA President Nicole Clapp’s reign. Hostesses are Sue Koster, Marilyn Carstensen and Linda Lohse.
Gladbrook senior dinners
The Gladbrook Auxiliary is hosting the Senior Citizens dinner on Fri., Nov. 12 at the Memorial Building.
This will be a carry-out and delivery dinner. The dinner is $5.

The ALA is also serving the December 3rd meal at the Festival of Trees. It will be a turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
This will be our first dine-in meal in a very long time. You can still get it delivered if you don’t feel comfortable getting out.
Call Jeanne for reservations. Come and enjoy the beautiful trees and fellowship.
2021 Christmas Family project
The Northwest Tama County Churches serving the Garwin, Gladbrook, Green Mountain and Lincoln communities are again hosting the Christmas Family Project Boxes and Gifts project.
If a family is in need of a food box and/or gifts for their children this Christmas season, please request an application for assistance.
For Lincoln and Gladbrook residents contact Jeanne Paustian, (1674 Hwy. 96, Gladbrook, IA 50635) at 641-751-2039 or 473-2843, or stop at Peace Church.
Applications must be turned in by Nov. 17. Family boxes and gifts will be ready to be picked up at Peace Church on Fri, Dec. 17, from 8:30-10:30 a.m.
