Are you interested in making a positive impact in Grundy County? Do you have limited time and resources to give to the organizations that make Grundy County a better place to live? Are you interested in meeting other community minded women? If so, then Grundy County 100+ Women Who Care might be for you.

The group will meet at Oak Leaf Country Club in Reinbeck on October 5 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The Cedar Valley Fish Market food truck will be present beginning at 5:00. Those wishing to learn more about Grundy County 100+ Women Who Care are encouraged to stop by grab a meal.

The organization is composed of women coming together to make a noticeable difference in Grundy County communities by supporting non-profit organizations. The group meets three times each year to hear brief presentations by some of Grundy County’s non-profit organizations.

Group members then select one charity at each meeting to support and women all contribute $100 directly to the chosen charity. In this way, members of the group are able to make a big collective impact on a local organization in just one hour!

To date Grundy County 100+ Women Who Care have donated $65,675 to Grundy County projects.

Visit Grundy County 100+ Women Who Care on Facebook, or e-mail grundycountywwc@gmail.com for more information before the event. October’s event is sponsored by GNB Bank and Oak Leaf Country Club.
