GMG Wolverine Girls Cross Country team placed 2nd at the Iowa Star Cross Country Conference meet on October 13, 2016. They scoring of the top three teams was very close, only 9 points separated 1st and 2nd, and 5 points between 2nd and 3rd. All the Girls ran great. Kyla Wilkening was the defending Iowa Star Conference Girls Champion for the second year in a row. Kyla had a large lead with the closest competitor finishing almost a minute behind her.
