GMG Cross Country

The GMG junior and Senior High Cross Country Teams placed very well during the season. According to Coach Jay Beichley, “I am proud of the way we ran at Conference. Our runners have put in hard work this season and kept good attitudes throughout. so they earned their solid showing at the Conference meet. We hope to finish the season strong with a good showing at the District meet On October 22 at Cedar Falls.” High School men at the Iowa Star Conference Meet placed 6th overall. Individual places were: Ethan Karsjen – 12; Evan Espenscheid – 17; Daniel Hughes – 27; Josh Gruen – 31; and Logan O’Neal – 40. High School gals placed 3d at the Iowa Star Conference. Individuals placing were: Kyla Wilkening – 1; Zoe Duncan – 4; Natalie Smith – 8; Haley Stahl – 34 and Laura Boone-Landt – 37.
