By: Bree Rockne BGM hosted the meet on Sept. 21st. There was 9 teams there, and the GMG girls finished 6th. The boys didn’t not have enough runners to place. Kyla Wilkening was the star of the run and finished 1st. Zoe Duncan ran hard to finish 4th. Even finishing 29th Haley Stahl did not give up. Laura Boone finished 34th after running a good race. Natalie Smith did a good job competing so that the team could place. The boys cross country team had only three runners, but they placed very well. In 9th place was Ethan Karsjen who ran hard until the end. Evan Espenscheid gave it his all through the race and came out with a 14th place finish. Pulling in a 36th place finish is Logan O’Neal who showed the true spirit of the GMG Wolverines and ran hard to the finish.
