GARWIN – GMG (1-2, 0-1) started its Class A District 7 season with a 57-0 shutout loss to eighth-ranked Montezuma (3-0, 1-0) on Friday night. The Braves scored three rushing touchdowns in the first quarter and four touchdowns with a safety in the second to lead 50-0 at halftime. Levi Duden led the Wolverine defense with six tackles and Conner Stonewall had five tackles. Jacob Burt and Blaze Krull each made an interception. GMG will continue their Class A District 7 play at Iowa Valley on Friday.
