On January 22, 2015, the seventh grade boys played host to the Cobras of BCLUW in one of our border battles. Beginning the game, the Rebels jumped out to an early lead enabling them to set up some pressure defense situations hoping for some high percentage baskets. The score stood at 7-2 going into the second quarter. The Rebels started to push the ball down court which led to a nice 24-9 lead at the half. Third quarter play saw the Rebels trying to contain the Cobras shifty-point guard. Both teams played evenly as the score stood at 30-15 going into the final stanza. As period play continued in the fourth quarter was important to work on team play and fundamentals. When the buzzer sounded, the Rebels prevailed with a 42-19 victory.
