This year the following young men are representing the 7th Grade Boys Basketball Team: Aiden Wyatt, Carter Wagner, Eli Thede, Tyler Tscherter, Cody Johnson, Trevor Harrison, Kale Hasselmann, Collen Eiffler, Samuel Mussig and Sam Schildroth. On december 2, 2014, the young Rebels opened the season by hosting the Tigers of South Hardin. With only eight practices due to weather and football playoffs at the Dome, the Rebels were still learning the basics right up to game time. A very talented South Hardin team jumped out early and often as they shot extremely well taking a 8-4 score after the first quarter. The second stanza saw more trouble for the Rebels as the scoring barrage continued for the Tigers as the Rebels headed into half-time with an 18-4 deficit. Coming out of the locker-room the Rebels looked to improve as they held the Tigers to 2 points while only putting up 2 points themselves. Fourth quarter action saw frequent substitutions for both teams while the Rebels picked up the intensity only to fall short on the score board with a 31-10 loss. Those players who found the scoring column were the following: Tyler Tscherter-8 points; Cody Johnson-2 points.
