The GMG girls volleyball team have had some wild games, but the Valley Lutheran game on September 11 is one for the books. The game went to five sets with tough competition in each set. The first set was a respectable win by the GMG girls: 25-15. The second set was close with a 25-20 GMG win. At that point things got interesting when Valley Lutheran had a nice turn around 25-16 victory. The Valley Lutheran girls had a 25-20 victory. At this point both teams were getting serious as the final set would determine the winner. Both teams were battling hard for a victory. During the last minutes of the game the score was 14-14. Valley Lutheran scored what they thought was the winning point making the score 15-14. Their team stormed the court thinking they pulled in a victory. The referees settled down the crowd and play went back in session. The GMG girls won the match with a final score of 17-15. It was a comeback victory for GMG.
