The 7th & 8th grade young Rebels started their season off with a trip to North Tama. They have been working hard on passing, serving, and returning the ball to the opponents so far this season. Lots of repetitions and skill development are still needed to get these girls ready for high school. They have all been working hard and getting better each day. Eighth graders on this years team include Haleigh Berendes, Rachel Cooley, Madison Denny-Weber, Justina Eggers, Brittin Evenson, Savannah Knebel, Emilee Pepe, Rachael Scarf, Jada Schlampp, Kaylee White, Karly Wilhau, Meriah Wittgreve, and Emily Wrage. In the North Tama match, they won 3 games and lost 3 games. Seventh graders on this years team include Taylor Frischmeyer, Kerrigan Hatch, Ella Murphy, Gracie Nagle, Hannah Quackenbush, Chloe Ritchey, Kaitlyn Sager, Kristin Schick, Jordan Sherman, Reagan Skovgard, and Brianna Strohbehn. Our manager is Jasmin Terven. Against North Tama, the seventh grade won 4 games and lost 2. Next week matches are on Monday, Sept. 22 at Aplington and on Thursday, September 25 in Gladbrook against South Hardin. All matches start at 4:15pm.
