GRUNDY CENTER – Grundy Center (1-3, 1-2) cruised to its first win of the season, a 43-6 victory over GMG (1-4, 0-2) in a Class A District 4 matchup. Grundy Center was led by Dylan Lyman with 192 rushing yards on 15 carries and two touchdowns. Bryce Moats added two TDs as he rushed for 110 yards. Jordan Clapp scored first on a 3-yard touchdown run, while a 43-yard scoring strike from Brock Rohler to Riley Wells finished the scoring for the Spartans. The Wolverines were led by Blake Warren with 15 carries for 74 yards rushing. Devon Schuett had five carries for 38 yards rushing. Luke Petty had a 7-yard TD run as time expired to give GMG their only score. Lucas Catherwood and Schuett both had seven tackles and Tyler Thurston recovered a fumble for GMG.
