On Friday, April 27th the GMG track boys traveled to Dike-New Hartford for the Simon Relays. We had two place in the field events. Brock Fisher tied for second place in the high jump with a jump of 5’4″. Lansana Mohr captured 4th in the long jump division. Running the 3200M, Will Smith placed 5th with a time of 11:41. Lansana Mohr landed 6th in the 100M dash. In the 110 High Hurdles, Austin Groth captured the gold with a time of 15:M76. Also, in the 1600M Run, Will Smith landed 8th with a time of 5:31. Lansana Mohr placed 7th in the 200M dash. Finally, in the 400M Low Hurdles, Austin Groth placed 2nd, and Kyle Barloon landed a 6th place position. Our 4×800 Meter Relay team consisting of Tyler Krull, Matt Smith, Logan Burt and Josh Raymond placed 6th. Our Shuttle Hurdle Relay Team placed 2nd place. That team consisted of Devon Shuett, Blane Anderson, Kyle Barloon, and Austin Groth. The 4×200 Meter Relay landed 5th, and the runners were, Devon Shuett, Kyle Barloon, Blane Anderson, and Brock Fisher. The 4×100 meter relay consisting of Kyle Barloon, Brock Fisher, Blane Anderson and Devon Shuett placed 4th. Finally, the 4×400 Meter Relay landed 3rd place. Those runners consisted of Lansana Mohr, Austin Groth, Blane Anderson and Devon Shuett. The entire GMG team captured 5th place with total points of 71. Congratulations, men on a great track meet!
