Opening day flag raising ceremonies were held at GR high school and elementary Monday August 24th. Students, band and chorus played and sang the Star Spangled Banner as members of Cub Scouts from Gladbrook and Reinbeck raised the flag. American Legion Post 242 provided the Honor Guard.
