GMG Dance Team members Dusty Savatdy and Kaitlyn Gill competed in the Class I State Solo Competition on Saturday, November 1st, 2014 at Newton High School. Kaitlyn Gill preformed a lyrical routine to the song, “This Girl is on Fire”. Kaitlyn preformed very well and received a Division II rating. Dusty Savatdy preformed a great hip hop routine to the song “Treasure.” Dusty received a Division I rating. Dusty also placed third overall and received a trophy. Both dancers did a great job and are looking forward to preforming with the rest of their team at the State Team Competition on December 4-5 at HyVee Hall in Des Moines, Iowa.
