Five lucky G-R students went on a field trip to the Ottumwa Iowa Job Corps Center that could potentially change their future Thursday, April 17. Job Corps is a no-cost education and career technical training program. Their goal is to help people between the ages of 16 and 24 to improve the quality of their lives by giving them career options. Students attending were Brooke Beenken, Amanda Beenken, Jacob Churwell, Jennifer Lassuy, Ryan Thran, Mark Lassuy, and Jakob Foos. Mrs. Doughan and several parents accompanied the students on this field trip.
