G-R NHS Blood Drive By: Maddison Wild

On February 26th, the National Honor Society of Gladbrook-Reinbeck hosted their annual blood drive. With this year’s weather, the National Red Cross has declared a national blood shortage. Students participating in National Honor Society volunteer during the drive by providing snacks and drinks. In addition, the students promoted the event with posters and social media. There was a total attendance of forty-six people, most being there for the first time. Forty-three pints were donated, which means up to 129 lives being saved.
