1. TRAVIS DREESMAN, age 24, Holland. Arrested September 20, 2019, 6:37 PM at the Sheriff’s Office on a Grundy County warrant charging him with 3 counts of SEXUAL ABUSE 3rd and TELEPHONE DISSEMINATION OF OBSCENE MATERIAL TO A MINOR. Being held on a no bond hold. Arrested by GRUNDY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.

2. Two vehicle accident September 23, 2019, 4:20 PM in Conrad. Driver 1: TROY MOORE, age 40, Beaman. Driving 1990 Dodge. No damage. Owner 2: JESSE GALE, Marshalltown. 2015 Chevrolet. Estimated damage $3500. #1 was backing out of a driveway in the 200 block of N Wilhelm St and did not see #2 which was parked legally across the street. #1 struck #2. No summons, no injury. Investigated by GRUNDY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.

3. Two vehicle accident September 24, 2019, 11:08 AM in Dike. Owner 1: JOEL WEBER, Dike. 2015 Ford. Estimated damage $1000. Driver 2: JENNIFER LEAVITT, age 31, Cedar Falls. Driving 2000 Dodge. Estimated damage $2000. #1 was parked in a parking zone at the Dike High School. #2 pulled into the lot when the driver stated she had problems with her steering and couldn’t get turned so she hit the back of #1. LEAVITT was issued a citation for NO INSURANCE.

4. One vehicle accident September 24, 2019, 7:33 PM on Hwy 20 at the 187 mile marker. Driver: AMANDA SNELL, age 38, Webster City. Driving 2013 Chevrolet. Estimated damage $8000. Vehicle was westbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. No summons, no injury. Investigated by GRUNDY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.

5. One vehicle accident September 26, 2019, 7:16 PM on Hwy 175 at S Avenue. Driver: JANICE EHRIG, age 81, Reinbeck. Driving 2015 Chevrolet. Estimated damage $2000. Vehicle was eastbound on Hwy 175 when the driver fell asleep, crossed the center line and struck the southbound stop sign for S Avenue. The stop sign flew over the car, breaking the sunroof and landed in the ditch. No summons, no injury. Investigated by GRUNDY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.

6. Two vehicle accident September 26, 2019, 5:20 PM on Hwy 175 at X Avenue. Driver 1: DANI MEISTER, age 21, Reinbeck. Driving 2007 Ford. Estimated damage $8000. Driver 2: SHERILYN KISTNER, age 56, Reinbeck. Driving 2015 Ford. Estimated damage $6500. #2 was westbound and stopped to wait for oncoming traffic so she could turn southbound onto X Avenue. #1 was also westbound and the driver said she reached for something and did not see that #2 was stopped. #1 struck the back of #2. MEISTER was issued a citation for FAILURE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL No injury. Investigated by GRUNDY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.

7. JASON BAKKER, age 46, Wellsburg. Arrested September 26, 2019, 7:15 PM at the Sheriff’s Office on a Grundy County warrant charging him with SEXUAL ABUSE 2nd, LASCIVIOUS ACTS WITH A MINOR and INDECENT CONTACT WITH A CHILD. Posted bond and released. Arrested by GRUNDY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.

8. One vehicle accident September 27, 2019, 6:39 AM on T-55 south of 250th Street. Driver: SARAH GOODWIN, age 25, Reinbeck. Driving 2007 Pontiac. Estimated damage $2500. Vehicle was northbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. No summons, no injury. Investigated by GRUNDY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.

9. Two vehicle accident September 27, 2019, 6:54 AM at M Avenue and 210th Street. Driver 1: HAYLEY LANGLEY, age 23, Marshalltown. Driving 2015 Ford. Estimated damage $12,000. Driver 2: KENNETH MEHMEN, age 65, Aplington. Driving 1999 Chevrolet. Estimated damage $2000. #1 was northbound and approaching 210th St. #2 was westbound on 210th St approaching M Ave. #1 was distracted by trying to pick up an item and failed to stop at the intersection. #2 struck #1. Both vehicles came to rest on the north side of the intersection. LANGLEY was issued a citation for FAILURE TO OBEY STOP SIGN AND SIGNAL. Minor injuries. Investigated by GRUNDY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.

10. CHASE PENFOLD, age 31, Osage. Arrested September 27, 2019, 8:00 PM at the Mitchell County jail on a Grundy County warrant charging him with PROBATION VIOLATION. Being held on a no bond hold. Arrested by GRUNDY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.
