Grundy Co. Heritage Museum’s annual spring open house set for March 19

The Grundy County Heritage Museum will be hosting their annual spring open house on Sunday, March 19, from 1:00-3:30 p.m. in Morrison. There will be a program at 2:00. Nurrit Finn from Wapsie Valley Archeology will be this year’s speaker. She will be informing the audience about Indian Artifacts. She was one of the archeologists that helped put the Bob Voigt display together by accessing and identifying Voigt’s collection of artifacts. Finn encourages those who attend to bring along any Indian Artifacts that they may have and she will help identify them. We hope to see you on March 19! There will be light refreshments provided. This event is free and open to the public.
