Gladbrook Women’s Club – February Meeting
The monthly meeting of the Gladbrook Women’s Club was held Feb. 11, 2021 at Spanky’s in Gladbrook. Eleven members answered roll call with their status on Receiving the covid vaccination. All were anxious for an appointment.
The secretary’s minutes and treasurer’s report were given and approved. An update on the new planters was given along with a reminder to continue taking empty bags to the recycling at the local grocery store. The Easter egg coloring at the nursing home will be changed to goodie bags for the residents due to quarantine. Details for the senior citizen dinner for April will be announced at the March meeting.
The luncheon that is usually held in April will probably be in June this year with hopes of social distancing being easier to deal with.
Officers that have terms expiring this year were announced. Birthdays, anniversaries, hospice cookie bakers and March hostesses were also announced. With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
Hostesses for the meeting were Vivian, Bonnie, Arlene, and Connie. Mandy served petite cherry cheese cakes and coffee.
