Grundy County Auditor Rhonda R. Deters announces that her office will be open on Saturday, October 29, from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM and on Saturday, November 5, from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM to handle General Election business. You may vote an absentee ballot as well on those days.

You may also handle your General Election business during regular business hours (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) Monday through Friday.

If you are not already registered to vote, you may register to vote with appropriate identification on Election Day, November 8, in the precinct where you live. The best form of identification is a valid Iowa driver’s license with your current address printed on it. If the form of identification presented does not contain the voter’s current address, one of the following may be presented as proof of residency as long as it contains the voter’s name and current address: 1) Utility bill, including a cell phone bill; 2) Bank statement; 3) Pay check; or 4) Government check. The voter may then vote on November 8. Be prepared that this process will take some extra time to complete.
