Cedar Falls Eagles Club to offer $1000 reward for Freedom Rock vandalism
Cedar Falls, Iowa The Cedar Falls Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 4074, is donating $1,000 to start a reward fund for information leading to the apprehension and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for vandalizing the Blackhawk County Freedom Rock Memorial.
“A lot of our members are Veterans, and there’s a lot of mad people about this.” said Eagles member Gary Klodt, a retired Cedar Falls fire-fighter.
The Cedar Falls Fraternal order of Eagles is a non-profit organization with 175 members and is located in Cedar Falls on Lone Tree Road, close to Black Hawk Park. Chartered in 1983 the chapter has a rich history of helping the community through a variety of outreach projects. The Cedar Falls FOE contributes either financially or by volunteering too many projects including:
