2016 crop weather outlook meeting

Tri County Ag Marketing is a collaboration of Grundy, Tama and Marshall Counties and provides educational meetings several times each year in the tri county area. These meetings are open to anyone who wishes to attend and are intended to be an opportunity not only to hear from Iowa State University Extension & Outreach experts as well as industry experts on pertinent topics. Meetings also provide an opportunity to network with other producers and learn what is happening at the forefront of the agricultural markets.

The topic of discussion for the March meeting will be “Crop Weather and Marketing Outlook: Strategies and Tools” presented by Elwynn Taylor, ISU Climatologist and Ag Meteorologist and Steve Johnson, ISU Extension and Outreach Farm Management Specialist.

Meeting will be held March 16, 2016 at the Conrad American Legion Hall, 102 1/2 Center Street, Conrad from 6:30 8:30 p.m.

The public is invited to attend this meeting and there is a registration fee per person or per couple and payable at the door.

The Tri County Ag Marketing Club is sponsored by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Mid-Iowa Co-op, Lincoln Savings Bank, Iowa Farm Bureau Federation and the Grundy National Bank. If you have questions, please contact the Grundy County Extension Office at (319) 824-6979.
