U.S. Air Force Airman Seth J. Thede graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Thede is the son of Kenny Thede of Reinbeck, Iowa, Debra Day of Norwalk, Iowa, and Craig Thede of Frisco, Texas, grandson of Irma Thede of Reinbeck, Iowa, husband of Jordan Thede of Gladbrook, Iowa, and son-in-law of David and Laurie Street of Gladbrook, Iowa.
He is a 2010 graduate of Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School, Reinbeck, Iowa.
