The deadline to submit grant applications to the Grundy County Community Foundation 2016 grant cycle is midnight (CST) December 31, 2015. The online grant application and grant guidelines can be found on the Community Foundation’s website at www.grundyccf.org.

Grants are awarded to nonprofit and government entity projects impacting Grundy County in the areas of art and culture, community betterment, education, environment, health, historic preservation and human service. Grant recipients will be announced in March 2016. The Grundy County Community Foundation awarded 40 grants totaling $102,619 in 2015.

First-time grant applicants should contact Dotti Thompson, Program Manager, at (319) 287-9106 ext. 18 prior to submitting an application. Grant applicants must be a 501(c)(3) designated organization (or government entity) serving Grundy County in order to be considered for funding.
