Plum Creek bit and saddle club is hosting charity horse show

Plum Creek Bit & Saddle Club is hosting the 2015 Select Charity Horse Show, September 18th and September 19th at the National Cattle Congress Grounds. Ten charities have been selected to benefit from this show. They are Buchanan County Animal Shelter, Hazleton; PATH (Professional Association for Therapeutic Horsemanship), Denver, Colorado; C & W Rustic Hollow Cat Shelter, Nashua, IA; Donate Life Iowa, North Liberty, IA; Great Strides of NE Iowa, Decorah; Cedar Valley Hospice, Waterloo; IERAL Iowa Equine Rescue & Awareness League, Cedar Rapids, IA; Iowa 4-H Equine Program, Ames, IA; Retrieving Freedom, Waverly, IA; and Miracles in Motion, Swisher, IA.

Dragonfire Dancing Horses will provide a tribute to our nation with a performance to patriotic music at 6:00 Friday night.. There will be stick horse races for fairgoers to participate in supporting the non-profit organizations starting right after the Dragonfire performance. There will be fun classes for children and adults as well as Western, English and driving disciplines.
