Wine makers vied for titles in the wine portion of the Amateur Oenology competition judged prior to the start of the 2015 Iowa State Fair.

Matthew Kraus of Nauvoo, Ill. received Best of Show honors in the Grape Wine division with a Sweet Red wine. Shawn Wilkins of Plymouth won Best of Show in the Non-Grape Wine division with a Pineapple Coconut wine.

Thirty-three exhibitors with 128 wines competed in 13 categories.
