GRUNDY CENTER – Three area residents have been elected to the Grundy County Memorial Hospital Foundation board of directors. From left, Chris Schildroth of Reinbeck, Angie Thoren of Grundy Center, and Marty Petersen of Parkersburg are beginning new three-year terms on the 15-member board. Petersen and Schildroth are beginning their second terms of board service, while Thoren is a new member. The Foundation sponsors fundraising events and an annual campaign to support the hospital’s mission of improving the health of the people in the rural communities of Grundy, Butler, Hardin and Tama counties.
