The Go Green Community Challenge is just one category of the 2015 Open Class Show at the 2015 Grundy County Fair. This challenge is open to all individuals and groups and is defined as any exhibit that helps the community. Examples might be community garden, youth program, community service project, energy savings plan, etc.

The 2015 Grundy County Fair runs July 22-26. This year the hours to submit entries for open class are Monday, July 21st, from 3:30-8:00 PM or Tuesday, July 22nd, from 7:30-9:00 AM at the open class building of the fairgrounds. Judging will start promptly at 10:00 AM. Participants need not be present for judging. Judges will provide written comments.

Entry forms and instructions for all open class exhibits are available at Grundy County Extension Office, 703 F Avenue, Suite 1, Grundy Center for a fee. Or they may be printed from www.GrundyCountyFair.com. The required tags are available only at the Extension Office at no charge.
