There was a one vehicle accident on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at 2 a.m. on Highway #20 approximately 1 mile west of Highway #14.

Driver : Kasandra Kahler, age 23, Waterloo, driving 2005 Ford Escape, total damage. Kahler transported to Covenant Hospital.

Passenger: Kylie Jo Smedley, age 23, Waterloo, transported to Covenant Hospital.

Kahler was traveling eastbound on Hwy #20, lost control on slick road, entered south ditch and rolled into sign post.

Accident remains under investigation by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office. Assisting at scene were Grundy Center Fire and Ambulance and Holland Fire Dept.
