Mark your calendars, ladies! Many clowns will be featured on the tables for the June luncheon sponsored by the Grundy Area Women’s Connection Tuesday, June 19. The time is 12:30 and will be held in the Reinbeck Memorial Building. The theme is “Clowning Around.”

The talented speaker Nancy Dempsey from Raytown, Mo. is a children’s clown and goes by the name Pinky Lee. She demonstrates “The Art of Face Painting,” for the special feature. Jan Loger, Dike-New Hartford music instructor, will provide the music for the luncheon.

Nancy Dempsey returns to the stage to give her inspirational message, “Only by Invitation.” She begins with a magic trick and then shares how troubled times taught her to value life’s most important treasures.
