Conrad Dash and Splash

Race start – 8:00 AM

The Dash and Splash is a 5K (3.2 mile) run / walk that starts and ends at the Family Aquatic Center in Reunion Park in Conrad. The route includes a blend of city streets and bike trail. Walkers, joggers, and competitive runners of all ages are encouraged to participate.

Trophies will be awarded to the female and male champions and medals will be awarded to the top three female and male finishers in 7 age groups. There is a $100 prize for setting a new course record. The Dash & Splash is a certified 5K course (USATF Certification code IA07001-MF)

The Family Aquatic Center will be open to participants for showers and swimming, courtesy of the Conrad Park Board. A variety of other activities are scheduled during the day for Conrad Black Dirt Days.

Proceeds will go to the Conrad Park Board for park and trail improvements and to the BCLUW track and cross country programs.

The Dash & Splash is a qualifying race for the first annual Grundy County Challenge. Participate in 4 or more of the 8 events in Grundy County and receive a commemorative patch. For each event, 4 and above, your name will be submitted for prize drawings.
