Transportation survey
The Iowa Northland Regional Transportation Authority (INRTA) is in the process of updating its 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), which guides planning and programming decisions for federal aid transportation projects over the next
25 years. The INRTA includes Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Chickasaw, and Grundy Counties, excluding the Waterloo-Cedar Falls metropolitan area. The LRTP will discuss the current condition and future needs of all modes of transportation in the region.
The INRTA is making a concerted effort to include as much public input in the LRTP planning process as possible. To help achieve this, an online survey has been developed regarding transportation issues in the region. The survey can be accessed from INRCOG’s homepage, www.inrcog.org. Paper surveys can also be requested from the INRCOG office by calling (319) 235-0311. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and will be available until April 30, 2012. Citizens who live, work, or travel in these six counties are encouraged to take a few minutes to complete this survey, including residents of the Waterloo-Cedar Falls metropolitan area.
