The Empty Arms Support Group will hold a holiday memorial service on Monday, December 5 at 6:00 p.m., in the family room of Reinbeck United Methodist Church (this is a change of location). The church is located at the corner of Spruce and West Streets. The Empty Arms Support Group invites all family members and friends impacted by the death of a child by miscarriage, stillbirth or shortly after birth to attend a very special service of remembrance. Your loss may be recent or years ago. All are welcome. The guests for the evening are Rev. Annette Ruhs-Kruse of Guthrie Center, Iowa and her husband, Rev. David Kruse. Rev. Annette will bring a message on Hope at the Holidays. Robyn Plocher, AfterCare Specialist for Abels and French-Hand Funeral Homes will give the debut reading of her poem entitled Empty Arms. The Empty Arms Support Group for mothers typically meets the first Monday evening of each month in the chapel of Grundy County Memorial Hospital.
