One person arrested Wednesday, May 11, 2011 on Drug charges: Justin Wise, age 23, Conrad

1) Delivery of a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance, Marijuana (Class D Felony)

2) Delivery of a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance, Lysergic Acid Diethylamide [LSD], (Class B Felony)

Wise remains in the Grundy County Jail in lieu of $112,000 bond.

The Grundy County Sheriff’s office made the arrest following an investigation by the Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force. The case remains under investigation.

The Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force is funded by the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, and the Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy. The MIDTF operates in Grundy, Hardin, Marshall and Tama Counties.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the Defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
